LISA WOLF
Lisa always considered herself a lifelong Floridian, and is happy to call the Sunshine State home once again! Before bringing you your Morning Edition, Lisa worked as a reporter and nightly anchor for Beartooth NBC in Helena, Montana. After tiring of temperatures below zero, she decided to trade snow for sandals and move a little closer to her hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Before joining WCJB, Lisa graduated from the Florida State University with a degree in Mass Media Studies. During her stay in Tallahassee, Lisa turned stories as a sports eporter for FSN as part of FSU's Seminole Productions team. She also reported for Seminole Spotlight, a weekly news program at Florida State. Shortly after graduation Lisa moved to Montana to explore a different climate, and a different culture! While there she interviewed Presidential candidate Mick Romney, sat down with the world's oldest man Walter Bruenning and broke the news that Montana would vote for now President Barack Obama in the primary! Now, Lisa is excited to report on the issues she grew up following, as part of WCJB.
Coming from a long line of teachers Lisa considers herself a lifelong learner and loves being exposed to new things! The journalism bug bit her in high school when she realized that all the questions she kept asking could be put to good use to help others become better informed.
When she's not hard at work Lisa enjoys spoiling her dog Leo, traveling and discovering mom and pop shops that often get overlooked in a touristy state like Florida. She often spends her evening with a good book and listening to music.
