My favorite color is: Orangeandblue (it's new) and fall fresh. I can't stop listening to: Lady Gaga. I know, I know don't say anything. Her VMA performance was weird though. Nobody makes Lady Gaga bleed her own blood. In my DVD player: A tribute to the Gators recapping the 2008 season. If not that then Sex and the City. My favorite TV show is: Gossip Girl, you know you love me xoxo. It would be the Beautiful Life but it was canceled :( Favorite Indulgence(s): Karaoke. Don't get me in the same room with one. Food... all of it. I'm not biased. Watching reruns of Full House, Fresh Prince and wishing I was DJ. Favorite place to hang: The Max. Favorite Gainesville Eateries: Dragonfly, Satchels, Fresco Neighborhood Italian, Swamp, Emilanos... shall I keep going? I don't go anywhere without:  A mirror. Carly Simon had no idea what she was getting into when she wrote "You're so Vain" Plus my "friends" never tell me when I have something on my face or stuck in my teeth :( Dream Getaway: A month-long trip to Europe starting in Italy and ending in Spain. Ireland would have to fall in there somewhere. I get inspiration from: Sour Cream. Morning or Night: afternoon? I Can't Wait for: Gamedays, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day 2010, my next trip to California Alarm Clock: As far away as possible! I'm from: Born in Miami, grew up in Trinidad. My favorite color is: Tough call...it depends on what the other colors around it are. Heaviest rotation on the iPod: Black Kids - easily my favorite band, John Legend - by far my favorite man, Maximo Park - but only the goodies off the “A Certain Trigger" album. Drake, Röyksopp, Santigold. And a few singles from Spoon, The Kooks, Phoenix, Fujiya & Miyagi, Empire of the Sun, New Order, Goldfrapp, Mayer Hawthorne, Gloria Estefan, Mackintosh Braun, Common, Daft Punk, Frou Frou, Estelle, Gwen Stefani, a mixture of vintage Kaiso from Trinidad in case there’s a dance attack, Rilo Kiley, Sue Jorge, Miami Sound Machine (can’t have enough Gloria). For the record I have the Paris Hilton album and it’s not too shabby mostly because of Scott Storch...I really like music. In my DVD player: I have a Vudu actually and if you don’t have one - GET ONE! It’s the coolest thing ever. My favorite CW show is: All my faves get canned like “Privileged” and “The Beautiful Life” - I was really starting to enjoy that one. But “Melrose” and “Vampire Diaries” are catching my interest this season. Favorite Indulgence: I like good food, gold jewelry and pebble leather - can’t stay away from any of the above. Favorite Gainesville eateries: Bento, 101 Downtown - big fan of the coconut lamb chops, Mi Apa Latin Cafe, The Top is always fun, Peach Valley Cafe & South Garden Chinese for Dim Sum on the weekends and yum-yums during the week. Favorite place to hang: Anywhere good friends are - it can be someone’s kitchen...under a tree, but preferably somewhere with food and air-conditioning. (Mostly the food). I don't go anywhere without: My shoes on - it’s dangerous out there! Dream Getaway: Paris for an event - concert, horse race, fashion show - something to get the people moving and talking. I get inspiration from: Good ideas - when you see something well thought out and beautifully executed then you feel, “I can do this too...but what would my take on it be?”. Magazine layouts still get my thoughts churning - they’re a go-to for style/fashion ideas, decorating a room, new recipes, gift ideas for friends - I’m a big fan of magazines. Morning or Night: "Norning" - which is the hours of 9:30p.m. to 11:30a.m. where most of my productivity happens - the best ideas happen in the dark or in the early sunlight. I Can't Wait for: MY BIRTHDAY! Every year I can’t wait for it. A good sale at Ann Taylor LOFT and enough money to get that dream getaway.
