Aaron BollAaron Boll

Aaron has always been fascinated and intrigued by the weather.  How can you not have an interest in the weather living in Nebraska where you experience all four seasons and live in Tornado Alley?  For most people this would end with a respect for the weather but not for Aaron.  He remembers events vividly such as tornado warnings, flash floods, blizzards, and severe thunderstorms.  When he had to make a decision about what to study in college, he couldn't see himself doing anything else but doing what he enjoys. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) with a degree in Meteorology and a minor in Broadcasting.  While at UNL, he had the opportunity to intern at KETV in Omaha, NE and KLKNTV in Lincoln, NE, and in Jacksonville for the First Coast News.  In addition, he was the chief meteorologist and reporter for Star City News, UNL's news station.

Upon graduating, Aaron worked for a collegiate ministry called The Navigators as an Edge Corp member.  He mentored college students in leadership, character, and spiritual development.  He looks to those two years as an investment that will pay strong dividends in the future by impacting many lives through the skill of mentorship.

Living in Florida and only about two hours from the beach seems like a dream to Aaron.  He is excited to be in a college football town even though it maybe hard to find husker fans.  On the weekends, you will see Aaron doing weather and during the week he will be out and about reporting the news of North Central Florida.  Feel free to contact him with story ideas and feedback.  His email is aboll@wcjb.com.
