On February 17th, 2009 WCJB TV20 discontinued the use of its analog signal to a fully digital broadcast. This was done prior to the June 12 cutoff date to facilitate the use of the airwaves for emergency response teams and make sure that any bumps along the transition were smoothed out before hurricane season started in June.
Many of our viewers are now watching TV20 on digital channels 20.1 or 16.1 with great success. Our digital signal is strong, clear and far superior to the analog signal. Unfortunately, some of our viewers are having some difficulty receiving our new signal. We apologize for this inconvenience, and hope that you are able to watch us again soon. We have recently finished a survey of our outlying areas, and our signal is strong from Starke to Cedar Key, Lake City to Ocala. Many of the challenges we've been addressing with viewers have been solved by a few simple adjustments or upgrades.
