 Mike Potter
Mike is a native of Key West who presents the weather on WCJB TV20 News Morning Edition and WCJB TV20 News at Noon. He's been with the station since 1992 coming to Gainesville after working at WBBH-TV in Fort Myers. This is Mike's second time at WCJB; he worked as Weekend Weather Anchor here in 1984 before returning to school.
Mike's interest in broadcasting and meteorology led him to earn degrees from the University of Florida and from the University of South Florida, and he has spent his life studying the changeable weather in the Sunshine State.
"Growing up around hurricanes has given me insight into tropical weather I couldn't get from textbooks, " Mike says.
